The ResponsibleAg Auditor Training Course has received recognition from the Board of Environmental, Health and Safety Auditor Certifications (BEAC). The course is designed specifically for auditors who intend to perform facility assessments under the ResponsibleAg Certification Program. BEAC’s recognition of the course is based on a comprehensive evaluation of course content, training materials, course environment and instructor qualifications. The ResponsibleAg Auditor Training Course joins other training programs recognized by BEAC such as the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care®, SOCMA’s ChemStewards and The Auditing Roundtable courses.

“Hands-On” Training

Training will be conducted at a retired agrichemical facility specifically designed and retrofitted for training purposes. Covering three acres, the facility is really one huge “prop” that appears to be an active working farm center with dry and liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, package and bulk crop protection chemicals, seed and other typical activities one would find at a retail farm center. Group exercises with mock auditing reinforce the learning process and help to familiarize the participants with the auditing process. Each area of the facility is utilized for training as the four-day course unfolds to create more experienced, effective and competent auditors.
