ResponsibleAg Announces Change in Organization Management
March 26, 2015
Washington, D.C. - ResponsibleAg, Inc. announced today the end of their contractual arrangement with Cansler Consulting, LLC for management of the organization effective at the end of the month.
"We are glad to have been able to help the fertilizer industry and agricultural retailers with launching ResponsibleAg," said Tim Cansler, Founder of Cansler Consulting. "Participants in ResponsibleAg will be able to identify and correct potential compliance issues and minimize their risk of potential penalties associated with a government audit," said Cansler.
The Board of Directors of ResponsibleAg will be soliciting candidates for Program Manager.
"We couldn't be more pleased that over 1,200 facilities have supported ResponsibleAg by signing up within three months of our official launch of the program and we appreciate the work of Tim Cansler to help us achieve this initial milestone," said Billy Pirkle, Chairman of ResponsibleAg. "Each week more and more facilities continue to sign up for ResponsibleAg showcasing that our industry is receptive to the program," added Pirkle.
ResponsibleAg is an industry supported initiative that provides accurate and credible facility assessments using trained and credentialed ResponsibleAg auditors. Each auditor must successfully complete a four-day course before applying for credentials under the BEAC-recognized ResponsibleAg Certification Program. The fifth auditor training course is being conducted this week with seven more scheduled for 2015. The next course is scheduled for June 9-12th.
